1. Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and any authentication details needed to sign you in (for example, credentials from a Google sign-in).

Payment information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVC, or other sensitive payment card data on our servers — that information goes directly to Stripe, which is certified to the PCI-DSS standards required for handling payment information. We retain limited billing metadata from Stripe, such as subscription status, plan, and billing dates, to manage your account.

Usage analytics. We use privacy-conscious analytics (including Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage of the site, such as which pages are visited and general performance metrics. This data is generally anonymized or aggregated and is not used to build an individual advertising profile.

Cookies and sessions. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and maintain session security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect site functionality such as staying signed in.

Local data. Some features (such as watchlists or portfolios used before you create an account) may be stored locally in your browser rather than on our servers.

We retain account and billing metadata for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law.

4. Third-party services

We rely on third-party service providers to operate Aerarium Research, including hosting/infrastructure providers, Stripe for payment processing, and analytics providers. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations. Our market and company data is sourced from SEC EDGAR and other public sources — see our Disclaimer for details on data sourcing.

5. Data security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You may update your account information, cancel your subscription through the customer billing portal, or request deletion of your account by contacting us at support@aerarium.app.

7. Children's privacy

Aerarium Research is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of Aerarium Research after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
